I have knee pain with grade ll ligament since 2016, when i scanned my knee problem traced out, and i planning to practice running, can i do run with knee cap please give me a suggestion ?

Which ligament is torn? Also knee cap weakens your quadriceps muscles so I usually don't prescribe plain knee caps. Only hinges knee cap can be given if mcl or lcl is torn
