First thing you need to do is stop taking medication on your own. High
uric acid may not not cause pain in the knee. 7.12 is not very significant, it usually remains slightly on the higher side when a heavy meal was consumed the previous day or so. That's not alarming at all. Its better to wait and then take the anti- uric acid drugs. If you are experiencing more pain while getting up from a chair or while sitting cross legged for long durations, it could be due to a patella issue. The under surface of the patella may be injured due to sudden excessive Workouts or sudden increased activities such as climbing up or down the stairs or sometimes even sitting cross legged for a puja triggers this pain. If this is not how your pain is, it's best to consult an ortho near you for Physical examination. Medication alone won't treat the problem, you will need physio too.
