Only if you are an athlete and would want to run and play in the future, would you need a surgery. having said that please do 3Tesla MRI,get the grade of tear of acl, first try to see if physiotherapy works for 6 weeks if not only then do surgery

What s your main complaint..is it knee pain or swelling or crepitus sound or feeling of instability or buckling of the joint.. MRI is not going to tell us Ur symptoms.. As Ur meniscus n ACL is injured, u need to train strength of muscles surrounding the knee joint so as to decrease the load on meniscus and hv a balanced lower limb musculature..
