IT band syndrome is a simple issue It can be treated well by physiotherapy I will guide you step by step. When it's acute first treatment is RICE that is Rest ,Ice , Compression bandage,Elevation. Then start doing the next step that is static quadriceps exercise - keep a small towel under your knee press it for ten counts release it repeat it 100 timesa day if possible this will help you a lot.After that come the third step- before third step you should not have pain you should check your pain if the pain reduced then you can do the third step that is you start strengthening exercise for lumbo sacral muscles, quadriceps 3 fibres rectus femoris,vastus medialis,vastus lateralis,hamstring muscles,gluteal muscles and calf muscles .These exercises I would teach you in video call for 45 minutes.this will make you relief from IT band syndrome.
