Is this oral thrush?
So since few days, i have been facing dry mouth, sometimes extremely dry oral mucosa as well as dry tongue in the middle(sometimes burning when extremely dry). I have also noticed this white line in the middle with some fissures, please tell me if this is oral thrush? And what can I do to treat it?
Symptoms: most of the time i feel dryness on tongue even though saliva is there, after drinking water more dryness sometimes.
Please tell me if this is oral thrush? And is there any test to confirm it? And how to treat it if it is?
I also noticed some fissures which weren't there
Hello. Diagnosis of mild oral thrush usually can't be done only via pictures. A thorough medical and habit history followed by clinical examination is a must before diagnosis. It will be better to visit your nearest Oral Medicine and Radiology specialist, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon or Oral Pathologist (since specialities deal better which such conditions). If this is oral thrush then don't worry, It can be treated with oral and topical antifungals.

Meanwhile, avoid any oral habits like smoking, tobacco/supari chewing or drinking. Maintain oral hygiene. Avoid spicy or extremely hot food.
