Ideally Plasters are applied to immobilise the limb so that you give rest to that part which in turn helps in fracture healing faster. You are not supposed to walk on plaster.Plaster is Applied well,it’s just in equinus position ,ideally it should be in neutral position. But no worries ; keep strict bed rest for 4 weeks on plaster ; No Walking strictly ; after 4 weeks once plaster is out then you can do walking and exercises.

If you are unable to put your foot on the floor after the synthetic plaster has been applied, it could be an indication that the cast is too tight or it may not have been applied correctly. It's important to have the cast checked by a doctor or a specialist to determine whether the cast needs to be adjusted or redone. In the meantime, keep your foot elevated and avoid putting weight on it until you can have it properly evaluated. If you experience any pain, swelling, or numbness, contact your doctor immediately as it could be a sign of a more serious complication.
