Good afternoon sir
Steroid eyedrops are given post PRK to promote healing and reduce inflammation. Some patients labelled as " Steroid responders " can developed high intra ocular pressure as a side effect. High IOP can cause optic nerve damage ( Steroid induced Glaucoma).
Next Steps
Since you have already been started on Iotim, the eye pressure might be under control. Post PRK if the healing and visual improvement is complete, you can taper and stop steroids after consulting with your surgeon
Health Tips
Any form of Steroid ( eyedrops, tablets, skin cream, injection, inhaler) may cause raised eye pressure in "Steroid responders"
