Iron deficiency

My brother lost a lot of blood through uretoscopy because he had lot of kidney stones and doctor did an iron test as well as he was loosing blood since 3 years through urine please check the iron test and my question is iron deficiency happens due to such blood loss in urine ? As he lost many blood in cathereter

Possibility of iron deficiency because of loss of blood urine is very less, as amount of blood loss in urine is very minimal. This iron deficiency could be because of nutritional deficiency.
