Ipill during ovulation

2026-09-07 14:32:03
I had my last period on 25th August. Cycle is usually 28-30 days and my period lasts for 3-4 days. I had unprotected sex with my husband - 6th September. I took ipill after 4 hours. Period tracker shows I was on my ovulation day. Will it work?

You took it within 4 hours, which is still within the most protective window for this pill even right at ovulation.
Next Steps
If your period doesn't come around when it's due, take a home pregnancy test to check.
Health Tips
No emergency pill works every single time, so this test is the only way to be sure.

See theoretically speaking you took it within the time interval of 72 hour But emergency contraceptives do have failure rates itself so just in case if you experience delay in your next cycle do a pregnancy test

Pill has high failure rate and pregnancy can happen despite taking the pill. Do pregnancy test if you miss your period date
