Internal OS opened & closed in pregnancy

Can opened internal OS close again? When scanning was done at 27 & 29 weeks pregnant, report showed as internal OS open. Scan was done at 29 weeks again but the report shows Internal OS as closed. Is it possible that opened internal OS close again? Currently my wife is in complete bed rest with Progesterone injection weekly along with Duvadilon 10mg twice a day.
