Intense Pain in anus

2022-11-07 16:14:24
Two months ago, I had pain in anus which started slowly and after two days I felt intense pain throughout the day and it started bleeding also. I consulted a doctor. He investigated and said it looks like early abscess and advised me for a scan. I went for a second consultation who said it doesn't look like an abscess and scan is not required at that point of time. He prescribed me an ointment(Attached the ointment pic). After applying it for 3 days my bleeding stopped and i was normal. Now again I started getting pain and this time also it started slowly and it is now paining a lot. Very less bleeding this time. Kindly advise if i should visit any specialist or general physician would do. Can I take any pain killer untill I meet a doctor and also that would help with my pain, while doctor investigating me. Kindly advise

The ointment you were prescribed is for the treatment of anal fissure.I assume your doctor has examined you locally before prescribing this ointment. You need to be re examined by the general surgeon to diagnose precisely if it's anal fissure or abscess. Until you seek an early appointment with the surgeon , continue with the ointment ,stool softeners ,high fiber diet , adequate intake of water and painkillers.Use sitz bath for 15 minutes twice daily.

Seems like you are being treated for anal fissure. Continue ointment.can take dolo 650 for pain. Avoid constipation at all cost-high fibre, plenty fluids, stool softener if required(anal fissures will recur if contipation is not prevented) Best to visit surgeon .

We need to know what's your diagnosis before prescribing anything. Bleeding could be related to other things too. Take SITZ bath for relief. If it's an abscess it has to be drained out only.... So there's that. If its some other issue i'd need more details. Getting pain killer without prescription is difficult these days. You need to get yourself a prescription whether online or offline...
