In Ayurveda, Vata, Pitta and Kapha are known as the three doshas, or regulating forces of nature. These three doshas are made up of five elements: Vata comprises air and space, Pitta comprises fire and water, and Kapha water and earth.
In Ayurvedic belief, your dominant dosha determines the type of piles you may be experiencing:
1) People who are pitta might tend to experience inflamed, bleeding piles that are soft and red. Other symptoms include fever, diarrhea, and a feeling of thirst.
2) People who are vata may experience a high level of pain, constipation, and black piles with a rough, hard texture.
3) People who are kapha may have poor digestion and piles that are slippery, light or white in color, soft, and large in size.
