How do I bring the ferritinin leveles back to normal? Ferritinin - 21 All other things like Hem, Serum Iron, TSA, TIBC, CBC, etc are normal. Also, last quarter it was around 27 it decreased massively.

Hello Take the right type of iron supplements Best options Ferrous sulfate -200-300 mg Ferrous fumurate- 150-200 mg Ferrous ascorbate- 100 mg Iron polymaltose Usually taken once daily for 3 months How to take : Take empty stomach OR 2 hours after meals Take with vitamin C - improve absorption Do not take with milk / tea/ coffee for at least 2 hours Boost iron rich foods Chicken liver Egg yolk Fish Chicken Spinach , beet root , methi Chana , rajma, lobia Soyabean , tofu Jaggery + sesame seeds Ragi Dates , raisins Avoid foods that block iron Tea/ coffee Milk / curd Calcium tablets Chocolate High fiber foods immediately with iron Check root cause Not eating enough iron rich foods Heavy exercise without enough nutrition Gut absorption issues Worm infection If needed doctors may advice deworming
