This does not sound like intestinal worms. The description fits fungal infection of groin (Tinea cruris / “Jock itch”): Common in young men. Worse with sweating, tight clothes, sweets/high sugar (because fungus thrives in moist, sugary environment). Recurrent if not treated properly or if same clothes/towels are reused. --- ✅ What To Do 1. General Measures Keep groin dry and clean. Wear loose cotton underwear, avoid synthetic tight clothes. Change underwear daily. Avoid sharing towels/soap. Dry groin well after bathing. 2. Medications (common regimen) Rx 1. Topical antifungal cream (Clotrimazole 1% or Luliconazole 1%)     – Apply thin layer on affected area twice daily after washing & drying.     – Continue for 3–4 weeks (even if symptoms improve earlier). 2. Antifungal powder (Clotrimazole or Absorbent powder)     – Apply in daytime to keep area dry. 3. Oral antifungal (if recurrent/severe, only after doctor consult):     – Fluconazole 150 mg once weekly × 4 weeks  OR     – Terbinafine 250 mg once daily × 2 weeks. 3. Avoid Overuse of steroid creams (like Betnovate, Candid-B, Quadriderm) → makes fungal infection worse. Repeated unnecessary Albendazole (not useful here). --- 🚨 See a doctor if: Itching is severe and persistent. Skin shows spreading black patches, thick scaling, or pus. Diabetes suspected (frequent fungal infections + sweets trigger → rule out with blood sugar test). --- 👉 Summary: The itching is most likely recurrent fungal infection (Tinea cruris), not worms. Management = antifungal cream + good hygiene + keeping groin dry.

Don't take albendazole regularly without doctor advice... If the itching is present between inner thighs around buttocks and around groin and if it has skin color change like black round patches or with white scale like appearance it is fungal infection.... Fungal infection occurs due to excessive sweating, using other persons towel or soap or things , using damp and wet underwear... To prevent this 1.always use dry innerwear 2. If it sweats more then bath 2 times a day 3.dont share soaps towels dresses 4. Don't eat many sweets ..it will trigger fungal growth 5.use cotton breathable dresses and inners. Treatment Initially 1. Use candid powder in groin after bathing and after complete drying... 2.use OINMENT.TERBINAFINE two times a day on the areas. Later .. If the symptoms persist even after this ... Then u should start with tablets .. But this needs clear picture about the infected area... U can contact me via practo with whatsapp number six three seven nine eight seven one one seven five..

Itching in the groin after eating sweets is not usually due to intestinal worms, especially since you’ve already been taking albendazole regularly without relief. Continuous use of deworming medicines is also not advisable. Your symptoms may be more related to a fungal infection in the groin area, which can flare up when you eat more sweets or if there is sweating and moisture.
Next Steps
Keep the groin area clean and dry. Wear loose cotton undergarments. Avoid excessive sweets as they can worsen fungal growth. Do not self-medicate with albendazole repeatedly.
Health Tips
You should consult a doctor in person, who may examine the area and prescribe an antifungal cream or tablet if needed.

I think it's a fungal infection. Usually when you(person) eat sweets, your sweat glands reflect it. You secrete more oil, which aids in further growth of fungus, hence the itching.
Next Steps
GENERAL MEASURES Keep the area clean and dry (fungus thrives in moisture). Wear loose, breathable clothing (cotton underwear). Change sweaty clothes quickly after exercise. Avoid sharing towels or clothing. MAIN TREATMENT Apply terbinafine cream once daily to the affected area and 2 cm beyond the rash. Continue for 2 weeks, and extend 1 more week after the rash clears. *If No Improvement in 2 Weeks(or if it's severe) Start oral terbinafine 250 mg once daily for 2 weeks.
Health Tips
Please consult a dermatologist in-person for personalised and effective treatment.

Eating too much sweets are not related to intestinal worms or ring worm infections. Fungal infections are quite possible. Keep the private area dry after bathing and avoid wearing tight underwear, jean pants . Let the groin area well ventilated. Avoid wearing wet underwear. Use of ketoconozole soap or powder will help in reduction of skin infection. It will be recurrent issue.

Hello, this is unlikely due to worms. Itching in the groin after sweets is often from fungal infection or high sugar levels. Please get your blood sugar checked and consult a dermatologist for proper treatment. Avoid self-medicating with albendazole.
