It can be due to poor posture which leads to development of oedema locally at base of neck because of poor muscle function . You need to strengthen your neck muscles , shoulder muscles and upper back muscles and improve your neck posture.

Hump occurs mainly because of posture,your on screen time might be more,you may be sitting for long duration bending ur neck

Hump can be due to poor posture & due to forwarded neck posture also it develops. With image I can make it clear whether rounded shoulders I mean whether scapulae are protracted or not.
