You have not mentioned why you are taking these supplements. If it was prescribed after your delivery and you just continued taking these without consulting any Doctor, then yes you made a mistake. Never repeat this again. You should stop both of your supplements starting from today only. Get a repeat blood test for serum vitamin B12 after 6 months. Try to take a good balanced diet and plenty of water ( 3 liters/ day). For further assistance/queries. Contact

Hi, Vitamin b12 is a water soluble vitamin and will be flushed out of the body in urine. You do not have to worry. However, you should stop your supplements. At this young age, you would be able to supplement the same with a good diet Do consult if you have further doubts

Dear Patient,  Thank you for sharing your concerns about your elevated vitamin B12 levels. A level of 1821 pg/ml is indeed significantly higher than the normal range. While high B12 levels are generally not harmful in the short term, persistent elevation over time may warrant further evaluation to rule out underlying causes.  Since you have been taking vitamin B12 supplements (Cobeb and Corcium XT) for an extended period, the most likely reason for your high levels is supplementation. Now that you have stopped Cobeb and are only taking Corcium XT, your levels may gradually decrease. However, I would recommend discontinuing Corcium XT as well unless specifically advised by your doctor, as it also contains B12.  It would be prudent to:  1. Stop all B12-containing supplements immediately  2. Monitor your levels with a repeat test in 3-6 months  3. Evaluate for any symptoms that might suggest an underlying condition (though rare) causing B12 elevation  Since you are postpartum and these levels have been consistently high, I would advise a consultation to review your complete medical history, current symptoms (if any), and determine if any additional tests are needed.  For personalized guidance, you can reach me on WhatsApp at eight zero zero nine eight two one three three two to schedule a consultation.
