I have been detected with high TSH levels recently. I am also planning for a baby. How does thyroid affect this

Hypothyroidism causes increased levels of TSH. TSH Hormone signals thyroid glands to produce thyroid hormones. If insufficient thyroid hormone is secreted, Brain keeps on producing TSH leading to raised TSH in blood. You need to start taking variable dose of Tablet Eltroxin depending upon your TSH levels. Kindly consult for proper history and further management. Thanks.
