Earlier taking thyrox 50 mg,now after test TSH level is 20.5 what should be the dose? thyroid problem since approx 10 years

You need an increase in the thyroxin dose to bring the TSH level down to an optimal level.As you are hypothyroid for more than 20 years it is wise to repeat complete thyroid profile including thyroid peroxidase antibody test and consult with your physician .
