Your reports clearly show elevated triglycerides (207) and a high Non-HDL cholesterol (168) both are early warning signs for future heart and metabolic problems, especially at your age. At 31, this usually happens due to a combination of: High carbohydrate intake Irregular meals / late-night eating Stress, poor sleep Genetic lipid patterns Sedentary lifestyle Undiagnosed insulin resistance Before starting any medicine, the most important thing is to understand your full risk profile: family history, sugar trends, weight pattern, waist size, any symptoms, and whether other parameters (LDL, HDL, LFT, TSH, HbA1c) are normal. Medications are not prescribed blindly for these numbers  sometimes they’re needed, sometimes not. The right decision depends on a proper risk assessment, otherwise you may end up on unnecessary long-term treatment. I can guide you step-by-step, check your reports in detail, and help you get these numbers down naturally or with treatment only if required. Your triglycerides (207), VLDL (41), and non-HDL cholesterol (168) are mild to moderately high for your age. At 31, this usually happens due to diet, weight gain, lack of exercise, or sometimes family history. The good news is that these levels can improve very well with lifestyle changes, and most people do not need medicines immediately unless the values are very high or there are other risk factors. Medicines like fenofibrate or statins are usually given

Your numbers are mildly high, but at 31 years usually no medicine is started unless you have other risks (diabetes, smoking, high BP, family history, obesity). ✅ First do this for 6–8 weeks: Stop fried/fast food, sweets, sugary drinks Reduce rice/roti portions, avoid alcohol Use olive/mustard oil, avoid ghee/butter Add 30–45 min brisk walk daily Eat more veggies, oats, flaxseed, almonds, fish 📌 You may need medicine (statin/fenofibrate) ONLY if: triglycerides stay >200 after lifestyle changes, OR you have diabetes / high BP / smoke / strong family history, OR non-HDL stays >160 ✅ Repeat lipid profile in 6–8 weeks. If you share: weight & height BP diabetes/sugar levels smoking/alcohol family heart history I can guide you more contact me in practo
