-Your cortisol is only mildly elevated and can increase temporarily due to stress, poor sleep, anxiety, illness, or uncontrolled BP -A single mildly high value alone does not confirm Cushing’s syndrome
Next Steps
-Repeat morning cortisol after proper sleep/rest if advised -Monitor BP regularly and continue BP medicines as prescribed -If symptoms persist, physician/endocrinologist may advise further tests like 24-hour urine cortisol or midnight salivary cortisol
Health Tips
-Avoid stress, caffeine excess, and poor sleep habits -Do not self-medicate for cortisol reduction -Contact me anytime on Practo for further consultation

Cortisol 25.2 is mildly above range — combined with uncontrolled BP and sleep issues, this suggests possible HPA axis dysregulation or early Cushing’s. Don’t self-medicate. Book a paid consult with me to order 24hr urine cortisol, midnight salivary cortisol & review your BP meds. Don’t ignore this.

Cortisol is only mildly high and can increase due to stress or poor sleep. Usually one mild increase does not need medicine. Continue BP medicine and improve sleep/stress. If BP stays high, consult doctor.

A mildly elevated cortisol can happen due to stress, poor sleep, anxiety, illness or even BP fluctuations, so don’t panic 👍 The important thing is correlating it with your symptoms and overall health before starting any medicine. Please consult once so I can assess this properly and guide you with the right next steps confidently.

Next Steps
"A morning serum cortisol level of 25.2 is mildly elevated above the upper reference limit. Cortisol is the body's primary stress hormone; such elevations are often seen in response to acute stress, chronic lack of sleep, or even as a physiological reaction to fluctuating blood pressure. In your case, the elevated cortisol, high blood pressure, and sleep disorders form a 'vicious cycle' where each condition aggravates the other. While this slight elevation doesn't automatically point to a major adrenal disorder, it certainly explains why your BP pills might feel less effective lately
Health Tips
Stress Management: "High cortisol is literally 'stress in chemical form.' Incorporate gentle relaxation techniques like restorative yoga or deep breathing before bed to signal your body to lower hormone production." Caffeine & Stimulants: "Strictly avoid caffeine and other stimulants after 2:00 PM, as these can artificially spike cortisol levels and further disrupt your sleep and blood pressure."

There can be many reasons for high cortisol, most common being due to stress. Since you mentioned issues with your sleep and high blood pressure, i suggest consulting about any stressors responsible for that and dealing with that. I would also like to know about and mood changes you have been having lately and you might needed to be started on anxiolytics if necessary.
