Your lipid values are mildly elevated and have almost certainly been pushed higher by the heavy meat consumption during Bakrid — these numbers don't reflect your true baseline. At age 39 with LDL of 142 and no mention of diabetes, high BP, or heart disease, statins are not immediately necessary. The first step is lifestyle change: reduce red meat and saturated fat, increase fiber, vegetables, and whole grains, and exercise regularly for at least 30 minutes 5 days a week. Repeat the lipid profile after 3 months of normal diet and exercise to get your true baseline. Regarding the echo report — the uploaded image was too small to read clearly; please show it to a doctor in person for interpretation.
Next Steps
Hold off on statins for now. Eat a heart-healthy diet and exercise regularly. Repeat the lipid profile in 3 months. Please consult me directly on Practo for echo review and a detailed evaluation.
