High bp while activity

I was drinking from past some months and now suddenly two three days ago I got dizzy and foggy head i checked my Bo it was 145/100 so I quit drinking the next day it remain the same then another day it goes down to 130/94 and still always the reading is above 125/88 to 132/92 and I was stressed now and suddenly my head start dizzy and vertigo and i checked it's again 145/102 then I lie down and checked after 5 min it comes 131/95 I am confused what is the cause of this and why my head feels so heavy and stressed ,dizzy ,vertigo sometimes is this the effect of alcohol or is it the combo of stress and alcohol what treatment I should seek what to do am I going to be alright pls help

You are becoming hypertensive. Avoid stress, have low salt, do regular exercise. Monitor bp for few more days.if consistent high > 149 /85, then you have to start treatment. First try life style modification.

Hi dear Increased pressure has many reasons and then sometimes it becomes difficult to pinpoint one cause of it Having said that stress and alcohol both can cause the raise in bp. Your BP readings are higher than the normal on different times.Alcohol and smoking do effect on BP.You need to monitor your BP twice daily for a few days.Reduce alcohol consumption.Diet modifications,low salt use , lifestyle modifications are very effective in BP management.Get your blood investigations and ECG done.
