Blood Pressure 160/110 before meditation but after medication still 157/105.

Telmisaratn is a good antihypertensive. Usually takes atleast one week to show the results.When his BP is not controlled with 80 mg ,a second antihypertensive from different class is added to control the BP around 130/80 .Along with the medicines ,low salt intake , increased potassium, physical activity regularly will be helpful.

This can be dangerous if blood pressure persisted in this range
Do not check bp immediately after taking medicine it should be taken before any breakfast or tee coffee intake in morning and 3 hour after medicine
In evening between 4 to 5
