Heavy periods

Hi I am suffering from heavy and prolonged periods after I missed my period last month.. my pregnancy test report came negative.. I got my periods after one month and its heavy and almost 10days it's not reducing.. I have Tranexamic Acid+Mefenamic Acid 500mg +250mg tablets(earlier given by my gynec)with me.. can I take it for stoppmy periods.. can anyone please suggest dosage for the same..?

Firstly you have to reduce or stop bleeding, same medicine, same dose can be taken thrice daily,  but i suggest you to find root cause for heavy bleeding, contact gynecologist or me on procto
