What would be time and total cost for hearing aid implant. Can we claim it under mediclaim? Is it advisable?

There are different kinds of hearing implants costing different ranging from 5 lac upto 15-20 lac, like Cochlear Implant, BAHA, Sound Bridge, Piezoelectric Implant, Brainstem Implant. The one which will suit you will depend on the type and severity of hearing loss and on Speech discrimination score. Yes there are many govt schemes which covers it and some mediclaim also cover.
