I found my left wrist have a hard lump so for that i visited doctor he did x-ray and USG and doctor told x- ray is fine and USG report came like, thick walled anechoic cyst and possibly ganglion cyst and doctor also told it ganglion cyst but I afraid for this is hard, do i need to worry about it. Please assist me.
It is a ganglion cyst and wrist is the most common site for it to occur.
If it is a small lump and you have no symptoms you can leave it as such.
If you have concern/symptoms you can get it removed by a small surgery under local anaesthesia/regional anaesthesia.
Not a major surgery so no need to worry
