Hallucinations and unknown concerns

My aunt was having hallucinations that someone will harm her. When consulted to a psychiatrist, my aunt said everything is fine. Later, she said she is unable to chew food or talk, consulted a dentist and aunt denied saying that she is absolutely okay. Later aunt said that she is unable to poop, consulted a doctor for anemia but when asked my aunt again denied the treatment. She does not open up and tell us what exctly is her concern. She has become very week and does not eat anything, unable to take bath as well, refuses to do anything. We would like to consult a Hypnotic and psychatric doctor to learn about my aunt's illness. Please suggest as we would want to find out what is wrong with her and get a treatment

Often some individuals Donot like to open up infront of others especially doctors. However, psychiatrists have a way of enquiring details from the patient, as well as family members. Further, observing the patient's behaviour also helps the doctor. I would urge you to see a qualified psychiatrist in your city as soon as possible.
Next Steps
Visit a psychiatrist or request them to visit you at home (if available)
Health Tips
Keep a close watch on aunt, avoid any harsh words.

It is possible she is having a psychiatric problem and requires urgent attention. The fact that she is not eating or taking care of herself is a sign of the severity. Consider getting a home visit by a Psychiatrist if she is not cooperating. Also give all this history in detail to the treating Psychiatrist so they are able to understand the situation.
