Hi, So a few things first. At such a young age it's not common to develop prostatitis. I would like to know how this diagnosis was reached and how you have been treated for it It's not a reason to avoid the gym..unless you are acutely or sick at the moment you can definitely hit the gym Do get back to me with your reports.

Dear patient.. exercises are always good for a healthy lifestyle. So yes you can go to gym and do exercises. But try to listen to your body while lifting weights. If it's causing stress for your prostate glands, please avoid weight lifting and try some alternatives to balance your work out schedule. Doing this will definitely keep you fit without causing much stress on prostate glands. About prostatitis, please consult an urologist and get it treated properly to avoid any further complications related to the same.

There is no problem in going to the gym and lifting weights but prostatitis should not be overlooked It should be treated properly...otherwise it might lead to future complications related to prostatitis So better consult an urologist and seek proper treatment for prostatis

Thank you for reaching out with your query. In order to provide you with an accurate and complete medical opinion, I would need a more detailed history, relevant clinical findings, and possibly a review of your reports or investigations. Unfortunately, it is not medically advisable to provide a diagnosis or treatment solely based on limited information in a message. I recommend booking an online consultation with me through Practo. This will allow us to have a thorough discussion regarding your symptoms and help me guide you better. Looking forward to helping you in a more detailed manner. Warm regards, Dr. Sudarshan Lamture MD (Medicine) Sfurti Multispeciality Hospital
