Gums swollen and gaps after deep cleanin

2022-04-25 04:56:59
Gums looks mildly swollen after deep cleaning. And I can see gap between teeth at the base of the tooth. (where the tooth attach to the gum). See like a hole in the gum. Will the gum grow back? I have done deep cleaning only on one side. When can I do normal cleaning on this side? I have other side(left) for deep cleaning but no deer pockets there. Do we still need to do deep cleaning on the left side since the other side is done? It's been 3 months after my right side deep cleaning. Still that gum is swollen on all teeth this side and see a gap between the teeth on the gum base. Is this normal? Do I need to get any maintenance normal cleaning on this right side?

Massaging gums after brushing your teeth can help in reducing recurrent gum swelling. If gums are still swollen after deep cleaning, it is better to take professional opinion.

Plaque deposition below gingiva causes gapping between teeth(migration) & gingivitis & bad breath machine scaling only removes plaque above gingiva  but not below gum ..
Next Steps
go for subgingival plaque removal with hands scalers..  along with that supragingival ultrasonic scaling..
Health Tips
scaling every 6 months & brushing in proper technique twice daily will resolve the plaque deposition..

You should always do full mouth cleaning every 6 months. Doctor will decide on clinical examination if deep cleaning is required. The gaps are gingival embrassures. These are quite normal and should be present for self cleansing.

Hi! If done deep cleaning means the deposits would have been deep. You need to go on regular timed appointments as advised by your dentist who will c the progress of the treatment done. The gaps that you see are normal and has to be there which will help in self cleansing procedure. If you find your gums are swollen for a longer duration then you should visit a dentist for clinical evaluation and advise.
Next Steps
Visit a dentist and clear off the doubts and proceed with the treatment.
Health Tips
Don't adjust with any abnormal/ different condition for more than a week. Better to meet a dentist and clear off the doubts. Take care.
