Gums inflamation

My gum have burning sensation and slight insensitiveness only when eating spicy food. No bleeding. A white layer present. Consulted dentists they are unable to diagonise exact issue. But they say it is not gingivitis. One doctor said it might be Lichen planus / leukoplakia. I am confused now.

Are you a Gurkha or betel chewer. If so, stop the habits. A white patch can mean anything but not worrisome unless diagnosed appropriately. Do visit and get diagnosis done properly first.

Hi, all such conditions are very difficult to diagnose as they have the same type of features which patients experience. Firstly it's advisable to relieve your symptoms. Please avoid spicy food for some time. The kind of job you are into can be very stressful so please reduce your stress levels by daily yoga, exercise and meditation. Start eating lots of green vegetables and fruits. Take vitamin supplements for a month after consultation from a doctor. Orally u can apply ointments to relief the burning sensation.
Next Steps
visit an oral pathologist. if you have deposits on teeth get a good cleaning done.
Health Tips
stop worrying about the issue. that will increase your problem. stop using any tobacco product or smoking.

Firstly please be calm. This is a temporary phase. Don't take tension about it. The stress will worsen the situation. Few things are there that u should do is 1) reduce having spicy food , have bland food for few days 2) stop any habits if u have like smoking etc 3) reduce ur stress level. 4) have food at fixed timing. If working late nights make sure u have good bland food and at right time. 5) drink lots of water 6) and last but not the least SHOW IT TO A PERIODONTIST AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE.

Hello madam, It's very early to come to a diagnosis to leukoplakia without confirmation with a biopsy.. and white spot lesions are so many. Visit a oral medicine doctor for a right diagnosis..
