Bleeding gums could be due to gingivitis (mild condition) or periodontitis (moderate to severe condition). This is nothing but infection to the gums. To a certain extent, the problem can be treated effectively. However, the reason for the infection has to be evaluated carefully. We have treated several cases successfully. Approximately, based on the severity, It takes 3-4 appointments to clear your problem completely. Pain and bleeding can be controlled once we remove the causative agent for the infection.
