GERD SYMPTOMS (SEVERE BAD BREATH)
I have been struggling with severe bad breath for more than 1 year , I have globus sensation feeling some liquid in my throat with an acidic smell , i have done endoscopy & find out "MILD GRADE A ESOPHAGITIS" , haital hernia of 2 cmm , acid reflux & Gerd symptoms are there , apart from this some time after eating I get burning & tingling sensation on both side of navel , currently taking medicine from 2 months

Grade A oesophagitis with a small hiatus hernia is real reflux, and 2 months of tablets failing usually means the timing and the lifestyle side is not being done, not that the drug is wrong. Take Lanzodex strictly 30-45 minutes before breakfast on an empty stomach, not after food - that single change fixes many "no improvement" cases. Add a night dose if symptoms are nocturnal, last meal 3 hours before lying down, raise the head end of the bed by 6 inches, cut tea/coffee, spicy and late dinners, and lose a few kilos - at 80 kg your abdominal pressure is feeding the reflux. The bad breath and globus will settle only once acid control is complete, so give it 8 weeks of proper dosing. If it still persists, you need an H. pylori test and a review of the endoscopy rather than more of the same. Book a Practo consult with me and I will restructure the regime properly.
