Gerd (gastroesophageal reflux disease )

I face night sweats may be for last 45 days . I checked all the tests what doctors given to me . ECG , thyroid, vitamin ,CBC and lipid all are normal only tg is 191 . Some physician said it's may be Gerd (gastroesophageal reflux disease ). Yes my digestive system is weak I know that .I take regularly antacid s for long time . If I have gerd what medicine or precaution should I take ?
