If it's just one and asymptomatic. I don't feel it's big issue. But then you haven't uploaded pic. It's location is it in popliteal area and isnit tortuous. Does you job require prolonged standing or do you have restless syndrome...always shaking leg?

It means you have varicose veins Depending on how long and big the vein is treatment needs to be done If small thin veins and doesn’t have any pain while walking distances then no need of surgical intervention If the veins are long and very prominent and many and thick its better to consult a surgeon for a check and if required a doppler
