GDM and Insulin queries

I'm currently in my 31st week of pregnancy. I have been advised to take both metformin and insulin even though my blood sugar levels have never gone beyond 200 mg/dl. Insulin has been advised once every night so as to control FBS. Is insulin really required as I m on metformin tabs already? I have previously been diagnosed with pcos and thyroid before pregnancy

Your post prandial sugars are on higher side. Dose of insulin or metformin needs to be increased. Consult your doctor for the same.
