Found gall bladder single stone of 10mm in regular health checkup but no other symptoms like stomach pain or nausea. Is surgery required .please advise
As per literature asymptomatic gallstone doesn't need any surgery.
However, with you being young the chances of becoming symptomatic during your lifetime are high.
Hence, surgery is suggested but not a must in current situation.
Also any family history of Gallbladder cancer is also an indication for surgery
