Its due to some kind of Acid in your stomach. Avoid smoking; sweet, spicy, sour, fermented, cheese, butter, bakery foods; nonveg; soft drinks & alsohol; late dinners etc.
If you have habit of taking late-night dinners, stop it. Have early dinner (before 8pm), otherwise just skip and fast.
Take Pomegranate, cucumber etc before meals.
Sleep on time & exercise regularly.
