Night-time leg pain for 10 days can happen from muscle strain, vitamin deficiency, nerve irritation, poor sleep posture, dehydration, prolonged standing, or sometimes circulation/medical problems. Since you are 32 years old and 80 kg at 5’10”, many causes are benign, but some symptoms need evaluation.
Next Steps
For temporary symptomatic relief (if no allergy, ulcer disease, kidney disease, liver disease, or contraindication): * Paracetamol 500–650 mg after food when needed (avoid exceeding recommended daily dose) * If muscle cramps/tightness are prominent: magnesium-rich diet (banana, nuts, leafy vegetables)
Health Tips
* Drink adequate water through the day * Gentle calf/hamstring stretching before sleep * Warm compress or warm bath at night * Avoid prolonged standing/sitting continuously * Check sleep posture and mattress support

Bilateral leg pain at night for 10 days in a 32-year-old can have several causes — the most common being Vitamin D deficiency, Vitamin B12 deficiency, restless leg syndrome, or muscle cramping from dehydration or electrolyte imbalance. At your weight and height (BMI around 26), it is also worth considering whether the pain is related to joint or muscle strain. The fact that it is happening on both sides and specifically at night is an important clue.
Next Steps
Please consult me directly on Practo for a detailed evaluation — I can assess the likely cause and guide you on the right tests and treatment rather than suggesting medicine without a proper diagnosis.

Basic measures Adequate hydration Gentle calf/hamstring stretching before sleep Warm water fomentation at night Avoid prolonged standing during the day Medications (short-term relief): Paracetamol SOS for pain Consider calcium + Vitamin D3 supplementation Add B-complex if deficiency suspected Investigations : Serum Vitamin D, B12 Serum calcium, electrolytes Hb When to suspect something more: Severe cramps, tingling/burning → possible deficiency/neuropathy Swelling/redness → rule out vascular cause
Next Steps
Start supportive care now; if no improvement in 1–2 weeks, get blood tests and consult for targeted treatment.
Health Tips
Most cases are benign and reversible, but persistent night pain needs basic deficiency workup rather than just painkillers.

Your physical parameters show a body weight of 83 kg and a height of 5'10". This places your Body Mass Index (BMI) in the overweight category, which imposes a constant, elevated mechanical loading force on your lower limb joints, deep deep-tissue muscles, and vascular channels throughout the day. When you lie down to rest at night, the sudden deceleration of active muscle pump mechanics combined with daytime physical exhaustion frequently triggers deep ischemic muscle cramps and aching.
Next Steps
Experiencing bilateral leg discomfort at night is a classic presentation that requires ruling out early-stage chronic venous insufficiency (where blood pools in the lower limbs during long hours of standing or sitting) or Restless Legs Syndrome (RLS). Furthermore, severe underlying nutritional deficiencies—specifically a sharp drop in serum Vitamin D3, Calcium, or Vitamin B12 levels—directly irritate peripheral nerve pathways and skeletal muscles, making them highly prone to painful nighttime spasticity.
Health Tips
To structurally review your physical lower limb reflexes, analyze your upcoming nutritional and metabolic blood panels, and provide a target-specific prescription to relieve your nocturnal leg pain so you can get restful sleep, please book a full consultation session via my Practo profile."

Hello dear, Persistent leg pain at night can be really disruptive. Before we jump to prescribing any medication, I need a clearer picture of what’s happening, as 'leg pain' can come from many different sources. Could you let me know a few things? 1. The nature of the pain: Is it a deep ache, a sharp shooting pain, or more of a restless/cramping sensation? 2. Other symptoms: Do you have any swelling, numbness, or tingling in your feet? Does it happen every night, or only after long days? 3. History: Do you have any known issues like diabetes, or have you recently changed your activity levels? Nighttime leg pain in a 32-year-old could be related to anything from nerve issues or vitamin deficiencies to muscle strain or circulation. I don't want to just give you a random painkiller that might only mask the real problem. Please share those details, and we can figure out the best way to handle this.
