In my opinion not all cases require extraction. Keeping in mind the amount of space; that is the main criteria needed to decide whether  extraction is needed or not. But before planning treatment opg and lateral cephelogram ( dental xrays) must be taken. After the case study the orthodontist will suggest whether tooth extraction is required or not.  In my conclusion each individual case is different ,not all cases require extraction based on the clinical findings.

It totally depends upon hw much space is needed to put your teeth back in proper alignment ... If your teeth are very proclaimed then you will need extraction otherwise if small correction is needed u might not need to get your teeth removed ... An orthodontist will tell u the best ..
