Feeling weakness from taking low Carbs

2021-04-06 07:35:21
Why do I feel weak when I cut carbs from my diet. I want to do bodybuilding but during my cutting cycle I often feel fatigue and weakness in my muscles (specially in legs). I'm also engaged in powerlifting and due to this weakness my strength is loosing. What should I do? Sould I go from multivitamins or should I take anabolics?

Hi Don’t completely cut down on carbs which can be dangerous and can lead to Ketoacidosis in the long run...or in sometime later. Instead you can decrease the intake of carbs into small portions like say for example you can take 100 to 150 gms of cooked brown rice daily for lunch and you can also consume rice some 50 gm at night for dinner if you wish to as there’s no harm in taking rice at night as this helps in not getting weakness and fatigue in your leg muscles especially... and overall weakness also is well controlled with well balanced diet containing for amount of complex carbs, moderate plant proteins, low fat and omega 3 omega 6 rich foods... Another excellent food option is to soak the overnight cooked rice in water and have that rice the next day morning with curd by draining the remaining water that is used for soaking last night.. which helps you in feeling active all day long and for rest of the day by giving you a feeling of fullness thus preventing weakness, fatigue and cramps in leg muscles etc This is also an excellent home remedy as the resistant starch in this acts an excellent microbiome gut bacteria protector ( probiotic bacteria ) and raises your BMR levels by making you to stay active all day through... So you can definitely give it a try ... Have good amount of proteins in your daily diet ... Recommendation: Not to cut down or completely avoid on any foods.. have well balanced diet. Include Fair amount of carbs, proteins both animal and plant based , milk and milk products , all seasonal fruits, vegetables and dark green leafy vegetables, nuts, seeds , dry fruits and plenty of drinking water, fruit juices, coconut water etc.. all variety foods to be consumed .
Health Tips
Well balanced diet, both morning evening exercises, drinking plenty of water around 2 to 3 litres, exposure to sunlight, good sleep etc are key.., Avoid or stop eating outside foods completely as much as possible.....
