Hi... If there is no physiological cause for your condition then it means you are experiencing anxiety/panic attacks. Reoccurring dreams suggest repressed fear, guilt, shame, desire, spite, etc. that is finding an exit in a disguised manner through dreams. Treatment involves Psychotherapy/Counselling using therapeutic approaches like Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Psychoanalysis, Dreams Analysis, etc. If the cause is more biological or genetic in nature, Psychiatric Consultation/Medication will be required.
Next Steps
Consult a Psychologist first and then a Psychiatrist, if required.

What you are describing sounds like a panic/anxiety attack. I would need you to answer there questions to understand your situation better. How do you feel on regular days? Are there times when you are anxious? What is the dream about? Has there been a big change in your life lately? Is there anything else that makes you feel this way?
