This is a Patriarchal cultural society, parents save money, for a male child only, now matter the money might be pouring , still they care about each and every penny. You are a strong survivor of this typical culture. Today you stood on your own, it is all your earning, celebrate your success. Patriarchal people might even think that it was your responsibility, like your mom took care of family and a jobless husband and saved money for her SON. You should feel proud instead feeling low and bad,as each and every seed of your food is earned by you. Where many people keep fail and take parents help. You are capable, you can lead your life with dignity, still it's WFH right? You can move to your husband place and hire an assistant. Or you have attachment with family stay back with parents, pay same, and live like a queen.

If you are capable of paying that amount, u should pay. Complaining won't help much. Since u r working from home, u can spend sometime with your husband too in his place, if that suits u. I think that will help u to release unnecessary stress from ur life and u will enjoy family time also.

Hi, As per the present situation you need family support for proper nurturing of your child, so keep a healthy conversation with your parents and try to sort out issues asap. If they have already asking you expenses than as per my personal opinion you should give expenses for now, they is no point of telling what you have done for them. Also simultaneously look for better alternate way also. As you have mentioned only a part of present situation, i think discuss with a mental health care professional in detail for further solutions. You have to make a decision, whether you want to stay with your parents or if possible with your husband. Every family dynamic is different, what matters is our own priority and peace of mind.

Hi.. This pandemic and economic downturn has caused many families to rearrange their internal economy and also created a socially and emotionally challenging situation for everyone. And this crisis is still not over. Crisis has a way of challenges human beliefs, values, bonds. The best you can do is to have control on your words and actions. Do as much as you can and leave what you can't do. Do not ask others to do their part stating that you have done yours. In a crisis people are insecure and may respond very differently than in a normal situation. In a family it will become more challenging if people start arguing on who has contributed more. If still you are unable to support financially, you can choose to go live with your husband. Your parents will be able to manage their finances and will discuss own their own with your brother to support them if they feel so. Be mindful of not using hurtful words as it will stay in the minds of your loved ones for much longer period of time. Change is the only constant and this crisis will also be over. You yourself will be earning an income where these expenses will appear very small. So be mindful of not doing anything that you will regret later. Also, don't try to assess their love towards you or your kid in this crisis situation.
