Experiencing pain in crown after RCT
I had done RCT three days back and due to an emergency got the cap/crown placed today itself. However I’m experiencing pain when touching the crown or putting a little pressure on the particular tooth. Is it normal? Is it because the RCT-tooth is still tender. When will it be fine? What to do?
Pain could b due to occlusal imbalance so when u bite something u get pain, so probably crown correction will relieve ur pain or it could b due to recent RCT/ improper RCT. So better to visit ur dentist asap.
Sometimes RCT treated teeth may take7-10 days to b completely symptom free.

first subside ur discomfort by medicines and visit nearby dentist for finding the actual cause of ur pain.

There are so many reasons for that may be due to high point or any absess or else root canal treatment is not properly done .

Actually it should have been fine by now but there may be certain reason for ur toothache like abscess or a high point or any other reason so I would suggest you to better visit ur dentist again.
