Experiencing mental disorder symptoms,

These past couple of years, there are times that I experience a great level of sadness. And when I'm feeling stressed out, or thinking about all the deadlines and to-do's, I feel extremely anxious. Every time that happens, I had headaches, breathing problems and, sometimes, palpitation. I also had those three "symptoms" for hours when I heard a loud bang from a car door. My friend, who has depression, says that I might be experiencing the same thing.

I am able to understand ur difficulties. Many of the symptoms which u have mentioned is seen in people with anxiety and depression. In some situations there need not be a reason for it to occur. It is not ur fault, usually occurs due to chemical changes in the brain. Anxiety can have many bodily symptoms like palpitations, tremors, sweating etc like u have mentioned. V would need to know few more details like ur sleep, hunger, energy levels, interest etc to give appropriate suggestions. Ur problems can easily be treated with counselling and if needed medications. Don't let ur problems affect ur personal or family life. U need a psychiatrist evaluation. U can also consult me online through the Practo chat option. Best wishes for speedy recovery!!
