Hello. An endoscopy impression of Pangastritis means there is generalized inflammation throughout the lining of your stomach. Your RUT Positive (Rapid Urease Test) result confirms that this inflammation is actively caused by a common stomach bacteria called Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori). There is no need to panic; a routine tissue biopsy was likely not taken because the visual examination did not show any suspicious structural abnormalities or ulcers that required histopathology, and the RUT test itself is highly reliable for confirming the bacterial cause.
Next Steps
Recommended Treatment Plan: You will require a standard course of H. pylori eradication therapy (usually a combination of specific antibiotics paired with a PPI acid suppressor) taken strictly for 10 to 14 days as prescribed. Complete the full course without skipping doses to prevent antibiotic resistance. Maintain a bland diet: completely avoid highly spicy, oily, or deeply fried foods, and stay clear of caffeine, carbonated drinks, and smoking, as these can severely aggravate the inflamed stomach lining.
Health Tips
While this condition is highly treatable and routinely cured with the correct eradication regimen, skipping medication or improper dosing will cause the bacterial infection to return. To get a precise antibiotic prescription tailored to your report, map out your medication schedule, and clear any further doubts about your endoscopy photos, you can book a consultation via my profile here or message me directly on WhatsApp at: six three six nine four six zero five seven seven.

Biopsy report along with RUT positive is suggestive of H. pylori infection. Take triple therapy as advised by your consulting doctor along with other medications. Nothing much to worry.

If your endoscopy report says pan gastritis and RUT positive, it usually means: Pan gastritis: Inflammation involving most or all of the stomach lining. RUT positive: The Rapid Urease Test detected infection with Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori), which is a common cause of gastritis and peptic ulcers. Now we have to go for Quad therapy with acid Suppression Plus confirmation of Eradication MoreOver some dietary modifications like Avoid NSAIDs (such as ibuprofen or diclofenac) unless prescribed. Stop smoking if applicable. Limit alcohol if you drink. Avoid foods that consistently worsen your symptoms (spicy, acidic, or very fatty foods in some people). Eat smaller, more frequent meals if large meals aggravate symptoms. And Repeat the Tests
