How successful is laparoscopy surgery for endometriotic cyst in ovary and on other organ. How likely it can return after surgery. Should it be performed by the specialist of endometriosis or any gynecologist can handle this procedure.

Laparoscopic surgery is very beneficial for removing endometriotic cyst without causing any damage to normal ovarian tissue. But first it should be assessed by a gynecologist with experience in infertility and endometriosis as excessive removal of ovarian tissue can result in drastic fall in ovarian reserve. Surgery is better performed by a gynaecologist specialised in gynecological endoscopy.
