Endometrial polyp

Patient aged 53 years had endometrial polyp. It was removed by performing hysterscopy+polypectomy. Lab report states that features consistent benign endometrial polyp. Doctor says there may be chances of recurrence of polyp. When  you should get the transvaginal scanning done again (time gap) ?? Or should we get the uterus removed or just follow up with transvaginal scanning once in 3 months??

You are 53 years old. You should get a hysterectomy done. Why do you want to lead a life full of tension ?

Most of the polyps are benign so you can just get a follow-up ultrasound done once in six months
