ELBOW MUSCLE

7 years ago I had a hairline fracture in my elbow . I didn't get physiotherapy for my elbow so my arm always stuck when I tried to fold it on my elbow. Again a year ago I had a torn muscle in my same elbow , I then exercised some physiotherapy on my elbow it did work little. Now can I fold my arm fully if I start physiotherapy again ?

Most common problem with elbow injury is stiffness. There is no harm in trying physio if not improving then consult shoulder and elbow surgeon. Opinion given by shoulder and elbow surgeon. Dr. Sivaraman B , Thorraipakkam, Chennai

Hello. It depends on status of your joint that can be detected by an X ray to rule out any bony block or any calcification in the joint. If joint is free, movement can be regained by Physiotherapy.
