Hi My wife is 21 weeks pregnant in anomaly ultrasound "Echogenic intra cardiac focus is noted in left ventricle " I have attached the ultrasound report Me and wife are cousins plz let me know if this is the serious concern.

Echogenic intracardiac focus is often seen in ultrasound scan for pregnancy. It is not managed during pregnancy. After delivery we have to tell the sonologist about this finding. No action is required. Most of the time they disappear as the baby grows.

Was the nt nb scan normal?? Was a dual test done?? U need an ultrasound called fetal echo at 22 weeks to evaluate the fetal heart in detail
