Please tell me mire about your complaints/ symptoms . Mild eardrum retraction alone wont require any surgery.

Mild ear drum retraction doesn't require surgery. To resolve it, it's usually adequate to perform valsalva exercises with decongestant nasal drops and avoid exposure to anything cold (be it air ,water or food). Surgery  of the ear drum comes into the treatment when the retraction is severe and no all conservative managements have failed.
